This wasn’t just your average group. They burst onto the scene with a name that promised to go "beyond" everything we knew. And boy, did they deliver! From their three unique sub-units to their award-winning debut, we’ve been riding this rollercoaster together for years.

The Legend Begins: Three Teams, One Dream
When BEYOOOOONDS first formed, they weren't just one big group. They were a puzzle made of three distinct pieces:
- CHICA#TETSU (Subway): Led by the wonderful Reina Ichioka. They gave us those catchy, city-pop vibes we all love.
- Ame no Mori Kawa Umi: Led by the powerhouse Kurumi Takase. Their name translates to "Rain, Forest, River, Ocean": talk about a force of nature!
- SeasoningS: Led by the talented Miyo Hirai. They added that extra "flavor" to the group that made everything pop.
Their debut on August 7, 2019, was like a lightning bolt. Remember "Megane no Otoko no Ko"? It was more than a song; it was a whole play! It’s no wonder they won the Best New Artist award at the Japan Record Awards that year. We were all cheering from our living rooms!
A Classic Moment: Chopin-senpai and the Piano Magic
If you've been following our J-pop and Indie updates, you know how much we love a good "theme." One of the most delightful moments in their journey was "Hero-laugh! Chopin-senpai ~."

The last few years have brought big changes. Just like any great story, there are chapters that end so new ones can begin. We’ve seen some of our favorites "graduate" from the group. Reina Ichioka, Yuhane Yamazaki, and Rika Shimakura have all moved on to their next adventures.
Seeing a legend turn into a myth is always bittersweet, but we are so grateful for the memories they gave us! Every time they took the stage, they turned the streets of Japan into a kaleidoscope of fan fashion.
The Return of Momohime and a Farewell to Kurumi
Hold onto your hats, because this week has been a whirlwind! Just yesterday, on April 25, 2026, the incredible Momohime Kiyono made her long-awaited return! The cheers from the fans were loud enough to be heard across the ocean. Welcome back, Momohime! We missed that energy so much.
But as one star returns, another prepares for a final bow. Our beloved Kurumi Takase is graduating during this current Spring 2026 tour. It’s a real tear-jerker for fans who have followed her since the beginning. She has been a pillar for the group, and seeing her move forward is absolutely moving. Let’s give her the biggest send-off ever!

In January 2025, they dropped their 6th single, "Do-Did-Done / Ah-Kun ni Tensei." It’s punchy, it’s fun, and it’s classic BEYOOOOONDS. Then, in December 2025, they released their 3rd album, titled "BEYOOOOONDS 3rd." It’s a two-CD masterpiece with 19 tracks!
